3/10/06 - Global Relief Technologies to Expand at Pease International

Portsmouth, NH - Global Relief Technologies (GRT) will soon be expanding their extensive efforts in civilian, military and humanitarian relief operations at Pease International in Portsmouth.

"This is a great move for us", states Michael Gray, President and CEO of GRT. "Our business partners are located in Portsmouth and there is a large percentage of untapped high-tech talent in this market, unlike in New York or D.C. where there is much more competition. In relocating our offices to Pease International, our operations center will triple in size almost immediately."

Pease Development Authority's Executive Director, George Bald, expresses his appreciation for GRT's relocation to Pease International. "Global Relief Technologies is an innovative, highly-esteemed humanitarian-based organization that truly adds to the diverse and reputable array of companies headquartered in the Seacoast and we are proud to welcome them to Pease International."

GRT's integrated technology is focused on field-user capabilities for a wide range of reporting requirements in industries such as disaster response, homeland security, monitoring and evaluation programs, health monitoring, operation, maintenance and engineering. Their systems can adapt to almost any requirement for collecting timely data.

GRT created a SMART*Kit (Secure, Mobile, Assessment and Response Telecommunications Kit) containing a handheld device such as a PDA loaded with GRT's customized RDMS (Rapid Data Management System) reporting software, which includes mapping capabilities as well as a satellite phone for data transmission in remote environments. GRT's SMART*kits were utilized by the U.S. Marine Corps after hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast. SMART*kits are also currently used in Iraq to track maintenance workers as they service their posts and track their inventory of parts.

Other services include VNOC (a 24/7 Virtual Network Operations Center), Custom Reports, Analysis and Reporting, Network Operations Support, World-Wide Network, Location Based Services (instant mapping and satellite imagery), Client Training and Data Management.
