subject:     General Aviation (GA) Apron reconstruction project Phase 4 and 4a

date:            7/20/06

Beginning Tuesday, July 25, 2006 Phase 4 of the GA Apron reconstruction project will begin.  This area consists mostly of the parking apron immediately in front of the Pan Am Services Hangar.  This area will be closed for a period of approximately 60 days.

Starting on September 5, 2006  Phase 4a of the GA Apron Reconstruction Project will begin.  This area consists of the concrete apron surrounding T-Hangar Units 200, 201 (T-Hangars 1-10 and 41-18) and the East side of T-Hangar Unit 203 (Hangars 12,14,16,18, and 20). The aircraft in these hangars can be relocated to a temporary hangar facility. This phase of construction will be closed for a period of approximately 30 days.

Note to T-hangar tenants affected in Phase 4a:  The Pease Airport Management will be accessing the T-hangars to inventory the aircraft inside each.  This is to facilitate a parking plan for the temporary hangaring of T-hangar Aircraft.  Temporary hangar facilities are for Aircraft Only.  In addition, certain phases of construction will require the hangar doors to be opened.

The work area will be marked with orange and white plastic barricades equipped with flashing red lights.

The FBO’s, and Corporate Hangars will be accessible via Taxiways N, P, and Q.  OPEN T-Hangars, and Pan Am Services, will be accessible via a temporary taxi-lane through the middle of the shelter hangars at Twy P. The taxi-lane will be marked with a yellow centerline and green centerline reflectors. This taxi-lane will be limited to aircraft with a wingspan of 79 feet or less.

Please reference the attached map.

The closure date is subject to weather and construction delays. Check airfield NOTAMs regularly.
