A. Expected FBO traffic (especially Part 139):
1. Pan Am Services (PAS): Pan Am Services has no scheduled 139 activity.

C. CY04 Construction:

2. Taxiway A OFA: The project is in winter shutdown and will resume in the spring in late March to early April. Some work in the lighting vault is expected during the winter months. This should have no impact on aircraft operations. They are in the process of re-evaluating the phasing of the project and feel they can complete it next summer as opposed to the three seasons that was originally planned.

4. NHANG: NHANG CE will likely be making repairs to the north infield access road in the spring.

Sound Insulation Project: Site visits have been completed. Design phase
is progressing and the grant application will be submitted by

ARFF Station: The NHANG has begun the structural work for the construction
of their new Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Station.

Airport Maintenance: PDA Maintenance
plans to continue with exercising snow removal equipment and training snow
crews. Airfield lighting preventative maintenance will be done on the
E. Wildlife: Wildlife activity has been relatively light over the last week.
F.
Security: The Homeland Security
threat level remains at yellow.
The security and ground vehicle training classes will be held every Tuesday @ 0900L in the Airport Management Conference Room.

G. Other:
1. Richard Peatfield of the 260th ATCS reported
that the phone in ATIS is hooked up, but experiencing technical difficulties
which they are in the process of troubleshooting.
2. The GCA was shut down on December 29 and will be closed for 14-16 months. Mr. Peatfield explained that the GCA is 15 years past its lifespan and will have a major overhaul. The result will be improved radar and communication systems.
3. RWY34 ILS GS Re-cabling project and VORTAC Baseline Alignments by the Mobile Depot Team is now confirmed for May or June of 2005.
4. FAA maintenance will be undergoing a full
scale Maintenance Compliance Inspection of all Pease ATCALS (NAVAIDS, Radios, Weather Equipment, etc.) in January,
weather permitting. They may need to take some equipment off air for
inspection purposes.
5. A GA users meeting will be held on January 10, at 10:00L in the PDA board room to discuss the General Aviation Apron reconstruction project. All GA users are encouraged to attend. At this point it is unclear how this project will impact the T-hangers.
