V. The following items were discussed or actions proposed or taken as indicated:
A. Expected FBO traffic (especially Part 139):
1. Pan Am Services (PAS): Pan Am Services has no scheduled 139 activity

B. NHANG HHQ Operations: Wayne Merritt reports the following activity:
KC135R arriving
KC135R arriving
KC135 departing
C. CY05 Construction:
1.
BCA Work: MWH is presently
conducting some limited winter well sampling under traffic. Well
development operations including drilling in the vicinity of Haven Well are
expected to begin on
2.
Taxiway A OFA: The project is in winter shutdown and will
resume in the spring in late March to early April. Some work in the
lighting vault is expected during the winter months. This should
have no impact on aircraft operations
3.
Jetbridge GPU/HVAC: The
pre-conditioned air unit has been mounted and the installation is continuing. Technicians
will be inspecting the unit next Tuesday.
Airport Operations will schedule training for operations and maintenance
personnel between next Tuesday and next Thursday. Moulison is aiming to have the
unit operational by
4. General Aviation Apron Reconstruction: There are two upcoming meetings with the General Aviation tenants to discuss the project and Airport Operations will also meet with each of the FBO’s. The reconstruction project is expected to begin in the spring and continue through the summer. Some segments of the construction project may include satellite parking arrangements during some segments of the construction project.
5. NHANG: NHANG CE will likely be making repairs to the north infield access road in the spring.

Sound Insulation Project: Designs are being reviewed with homeowners for final
approval. The completed designs will then be put out to bid. The grant
application will be submitted by

Airport Maintenance: PDA Maintenance
plans to continue snow removal operations as necessary.
E. Wildlife: Wildlife activity has been relatively light over the last week. There were no strikes, but there were some snowy owl sightings as well as several red fox sightings and one landside deer sighting outside the fence.
F. Security: The Homeland Security threat level remains at yellow.
There
was another security incident at P1 pedestrian gate. It was found unlatched. At this time the
gate is secured with a lock and chain and a sign is posted instructing users to
call Airport Operations for access. We
apologize for the inconvenience and are looking into a permanent solution to
put the gate into general access.
The security and ground vehicle training classes will be held every Tuesday @ 0900L in the Airport Management Conference Room.

G. Other:
1. Richard Peatfield of the 260th ATCS reported that the AOB meeting will be held today @ 1330 at the command post.

The two radar deflectors on the north end will be removed next week. It has been determined that they are not
needed at this time.
3.
NASA will have a DC-8 here next week for approximately 2-3 weeks. It will be parked in the Pan Am main hangar.
4.
The new ATIS is in the tower being
bench tested. There is no date yet for
final installation.
