General
Aviation Apron Reconstruction/ Taxiway A OFA: Paving for Phases 4 and 4A is completed. Painting will be done this week.
The
Taxiway A OFA project is currently in the final phase with
some minor punch list items remaining including sealing around the Txwy lights.
This project is expected to be completed under traffic.
3. Runway Pavement Repair: Beginning Tuesday October 10 from 0600z-1500z
runway 16/34 will be closed southeast of Taxiway B for asphalt repair
work. The entire runway will be closed
from 0600 to 0630Z and again from 1420-1500Z to configure the runway for
partial closure and at the later time to facilitate re-opening. The runway threshold will be temporarily
displaced and have temporary markings and lighting. There will be 7,150 feet of runway available
for takeoff and landing on runway 34 or takeoff on runway 16. Due to the
displaced threshold, there will be 6350 feet available for landing runway 16. Repairs will also be made the same day on

1. Jim Jackson reported that
there is still concrete on Hangar 4 and Hangar 1 which has been there since
June. There are several panels that have
been marred and are now rusting. Mr.
Jackson is not satisfied with the responses that both Pike and HTA
representatives have given him in regard to this matter and is afraid they are
not “being straight” in regard to damages.
Amber Goodspeed assured Jim that it will be taken care of as a punch
list item and that Andrew would be in touch with him regarding any damages.
2. Tony Reagan
asked when the snow meeting would be held.
Amber informed him that Andrew would contact everyone once the date has
been approved, but the meeting will be held later this month.
