Airport at Pease (PSM) was formerly Pease Air Force Base and did not
accommodate civilian traffic. Today PSM is a joint use facility that
serves both civilian and military aircraft.

A. Active Duty and Retired military personnel may inquire about
availability of military space available flights originating from Pease by calling the New

The Air Traffic Control Tower at Pease is staffed 24-hours a day,
7-days a week, 365-days a year.
Q. How far away is historic downtown Portsmouth, Boston,
the White Mountains, and New Hampshire's scenic lakes?
A. Downtown Portsmouth is only two miles away. Boston is 50 miles.
The White Mountains and Lakes Region are about a one-hour drive from Pease.
